Introduction

Everyone knows what's going on at the moment, things are a bit shit, and everyone's bored, so I've decided to make a blog, very original. It won't be particularly good, probably will be infrequent and musically shit because I'm not a fan of hip hop. I'm generally a fan of indie, rock and metal, mostly the more alternative subgenres of these, but I'm fairly open to experimental and alternative music as well as electronic, but I'm admittedly not a fan of Hip-Hop, especially American rap.

The main point of this blog is to talk about and review music, with the main topic being working my way through this list of 'essential' and critically acclaimed albums. This is obviously not a perfect list of all the best albums, there's no such thing, but it is a list and is something to get through while lockdown continues. I will write reviews for all the albums in some form, the ones that I like and find more interesting will get a full review, and the others will get a short review as part of a compilation of shorter reviews. I'm going through the list in order, but varying it so that no one from each category is follows by one of the same. I'll give a little rating out of 10 for each album, as well as my favourite and least favourite songs off the album.

I will also being doing other posts such as new album reviews, as well as some personal favourite albums under the title of 'Why I Love...". I may also decide to other style posts over time such as discussing pieces of news, talking about festival lineups and things such as my top 10 albums and my opinions on bands and artists.

This is more for me than anyone else, but if you have any opinions on anything, let me know.
